In-patient Opioid Use Disorder

Study Summary

Are you between the ages of 18 and 65, diagnosed with opioid use disorder, and currently receiving treatment or willing to begin treatment?

Clinilabs is currently seeking participants for a clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication designed to treat opioid withdrawal symptoms in adults.

There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $4,500 in compensation for time and participation. We encourage you to review the participation requirements below.

Study Qualifications

To qualify, participants must meet the following criteria (additional criteria apply):

• Currently receiving treatment for opioid use disorder or willing to begin treatment for opioid use disorder.
• Between the ages of 18 and 65
• Be able and willing to:
  • Remain in the clinic for up to 7 days in-patient stay in Eatontown, NJ
  • Complete on-site pre-qualification testing including, but not limited to, ECG, urinalysis, and bloodwork

Participants must refrain from smoking during the study. During the 7-day inpatient stay, Clinilabs can provide nicotine replacement options—such as patches, gum, or lozenges—if needed. Participants are not allowed any outside visitors. Study compensation may be up to $4,500 for completing all required study visits and laboratory sessions, plus travel reimbursement. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.

• $200 – Screening visits
• $200 – Baseline visit
• Up to $2,700 – Inpatient stay
• $600 – Outpatient visit
• $750 – Completion bonus
• $50 – Follow-up phone call (day 50 of study)
• Up to $100 travel reimbursement per on-site visit

Study Schedule

1 Screening visit followed by 1 Baseline visit, 7-day In-patient stay, 1 Outpatient follow-up visit, and a later follow-up phone call. The duration of the study may last up to 240 days.
