Dr. Magdy L. Shenouda is a board-certified internal medicine physician with extensive expertise in early-phase clinical research. With more than 17 years of clinical trial experience, he has overseen a broad spectrum of Phase 1 studies including intravenous and subcutaneous dosing, cardiovascular and QTc assessments, telemetry, nasogastric and intranasal delivery, patch and CNS studies, drug–drug interaction trials, bleeding and skin punch biopsy studies, and a wide range of foundational pharmacokinetic investigations. Dr. Shenouda’s depth of experience and rigorous approach to study execution have made him a trusted leader in early clinical development.
He graduated with honors from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt —one of the nation’s most prestigious medical institutions — before completing his internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune, New Jersey. Following his residency, Dr. Shenouda built a distinguished career as a principal investigator at leading contract research organizations, including Phoenix International CRO, MDS Pharma, and Iberica.
