George has spent over 25 years in healthcare services with a successful track record in senior executive leadership roles. Most recently, George served from 2017 to 2024 as the Chief Commercial Officer of ICON, plc., one of the leading clinical research organizations (CRO) in the world. Prior to his role as Chief Commercial Officer, George was the Executive Vice President of Finance, Global Operations, for ICON. Prior to ICON, George was the Chief Financial Officer of PharmaNet Development Group, an international clinical research organization, which was acquired by Inventiv.
Before entering the clinical research industry in 2010, George held senior positions as a CEO, CFO, and COO in a series of international businesses focused principally on technology-oriented professional services. Among other positions, George served as CEO of Palladium Group, CEO and CFO of CMGI, and COO/CFO of Renaissance Solutions.
George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University, a Doctor of Law from Harvard Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
