Study Schedule:
Up to 3 screening visits, 2 overnight stays (one night each / two nights total), 13 outpatient follow-up visits. Up to 18 visits total. Full length of study approximately 11 weeks.
Clinilabs is now enrolling adults with depression for a research study in Eatontown, NJ.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $5,650 in compensation. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
Qualified participants must be:
- Between the ages of 18 and 65 years old
- Diagnosed with a depressive disorder, such as Major Depressive Disorder or Treatment-Resistant Depression
- Unsatisfied with prior antidepressant treatments
- In generally good health
- Able and willing to:
- Attend visits in Eatontown, New Jersey for the duration of the study (up to 11 weeks)
- Complete two overnight stays (1-night/ 2-days each)
- Complete on-site pre-qualification testing including, but not limited to, ECG, urinalysis, and bloodwork
- If qualified, start a new antidepressant (SSRI or SNRI) that you have not previously tried
- If qualified, take the study drug ALA-3000 or placebo
Participants may receive compensation up to $5,650 for time, participation, and travel. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.
- $175 – Screening visit
- $350 – Inpatient visit per day (full day)
- $175 – Discharge of overnight stay(s)
- $175 – Outpatient follow-up visit(s)
- $100 travel reimbursement will be provided for each onsite visit you attend throughout the study (included in the overall total of $5,650)
