Clinilabs is excited to announce our return to the annual meeting of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP), a gathering we’ve proudly attended for years. This event is not just a conference; it’s a pivotal opportunity to connect with healthcare providers and engage in meaningful discussions about the latest advancements in addiction medicine and clinical practices.

At Clinilabs, we are passionate about our mission to transform lives through cutting-edge clinical research. Meet with us to discover how our innovative research methodologies have played a crucial role in achieving 22 approvals across 13 indications, bringing vital therapies to those who need them most.

What is the AAAP? Founded in 1985 and originally known as the American Academy of Psychiatrists in Alcoholism and Addiction, the AAAP has evolved into a leading professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of addiction psychiatry and addressing substance use disorders. AAAP offers its members:

  • Education: Offers educational products and programs for clinicians and trainees, including the Addictions and Their Treatment Course and the Advanced Addiction Psychopharmacology Course.
  • Research: Encourages research on substance use disorders and publishes a peer-reviewed journal called The American Journal on Addictions.
  • Advocacy: Advocates for funding for addiction treatment and research programs and works to educate the public about substance use.
  • Treatment: Provides information about treatment and support organizations and rehabilitation programs.
  • Networking: Through their annual meeting, AAAP provides an opportunity to network with other addiction psychiatrists, and to learn about the latest advances in research and clinical practice.
  • Certification: Offers training activities for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit towards Addiction Psychiatry board recertification.
