Screening Visit, 4-day/ 3-night Inpatient Stay, Follow-Up Visit. Most eligible participants will be selected to enroll into an add-on study which includes an Outpatient Visit, two additional 4-day/ 3-night Inpatient Stays, and a final Follow-Up Visit. If selected for the add-on study, you will return within 6 weeks for the second inpatient stay.
Up to 9 nights inpatient if all visits completed. Total participation 10 to 77 days.
We are seeking healthy males to participate in our study.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $6,250 in compensation plus reimbursement for travel. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
Qualified participants must be:
- Between the ages of 18 and 40 years old
- At least 110lbs in weight
- In generally good health with no diagnosed medical conditions or sleep disorders
- Able and willing to:
- Maintain a consistent sleep schedule
- Attend visits in Eatontown, New Jersey and/or Midtown Manhattan, New York
- Participate in 1 outpatient screening visit, 1 inpatient visit for 4-days/ 3-nights, and 1 follow-up visit
- Enroll into an add-on study with 1 outpatient visit, two additional 4-day/ 3-night inpatient stays, and a final follow-up visit
- Wear a device on the wrist similar to a watch, if selected for the add-on study
- Complete on-site pre-qualification testing including, but not limited to, ECG, urinalysis, COVID-19 screening, and bloodwork
Participants may receive compensation up to $2,150 for time and participation for the first part of this study. If selected for the add-on study, you will be compensated up to an additional $4,100 if all visits are completed. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.
Travel reimbursement OR travel accommodations available for eligible candidates. Reimbursement up to $80 per visit, with receipts. If travel accommodations are provided, travel reimbursement will not be provided.
- $150 – Outpatient Screening Visit
- $400 – Inpatient Visits (per day)
- $150 – Discharge of Inpatient Visits
- $150 – Follow-up Visit(s)
- $500 – Completion bonus ($1,000 max for completion of both parts in this study)
- $50 – Dispensing of wrist device (add-on study only)
- $50 – Daily use of wrist device (per day, max of $700, add-on study only)
- $80 – Roundtrip travel visit reimbursement to Clinilabs research center, with receipts
